Inspired by the work of Van Gogh, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Alice Neel, my work is realistic and expressive. The use of vivid color and rich texture show an exuberant appreciation of life. Never a person to be tied to one thing, I enjoy painting in various mediums; acrylic, pastel, watercolor and oil...and a variety of subject matter - figurative, still life, travel scenes, florals. Whether it’s a rooster, hen and chicks, a bee buzzing around a flower or a simple figure in thought, beauty is a consistent factor in all my work.

"Nature Inspired, by Idaho artist Bonnie Peacher, is a faintly hallucinatory image of a female nude bathed in cold moonlight, on the verge of a classical garden, a la Delvaux."
